Since 2005, we’ve helped Bateel grow from a small date boutique to a global luxury brand. Founded in the 1930s in Al Ghat, Saudi Arabia, Bateel turned dates into gourmet treats. Starting with its first Riyadh boutique in 1992, it expanded worldwide with dates, chocolates, and pastries, later launching Café Bateel in 2007 to enter hospitality.
We have been involved with Café Bateel from the very beginning, helping to bring the café concept to life by creating both the identity and interiors for the first location. Since then, we have evolved the design through several lifecycles to keep it fresh, relevant, and fashionable for today’s market, now spanning over 30 cafes.
Café Bateel’s offering centres around wholesome Mediterranean cuisine crafted by award-winning chefs, paired with a warm Arabian welcome. Bateel’s unwavering commitment to quality and perfection in its food is seamlessly reflected in the design of its spaces.
