Pull up a log and stay a while.
Conviviale is a neighbourhood wine bar and buvette at 93 Grosvenor Avenue, Highbury — right by Canonbury Overground. Consciously curated wine, Québécois snacks, and a hearty collision of French-Canadian heart and London soul.
The mark is the log itself. A cross-section of rings, taken literally: pull up a log, sit down, stay a while.
The rings draw inward to a shared centre the way people and conversations gather around a table — warm, unhurried, room for one more.
And the colourways shift because the room does. Different seasons, different faces, different conversations — the same circle holding all of them, through the Forest Floor & Amber palette of Old Growth Olive, Sage Lichen and Buvette Blush.
It runs right across the table: the wine list, the pairings menu, blind-embossed covers you feel before you read, coasters in three colourways so no two things in front of you are quite the same.
The brief we were given, from founder Catherine Barry:
"Highbury and Montréal share a specific magic: tree-lined streets that hold a world of different cultures… London is beautifully fast, but Conviviale is where we slow down. I want the brand to feel like it's been hand-etched into the neighbourhood — a permanent invitation to pull up a log and stay a while."
