Marina Mall

Brand identity and mall redesign for one of Abu Dhabi’s first shopping destinations—providing a more modern approach to appeal to a younger audience and more upscale and luxury brands.


  • Marina Mall was one of Abu Dhabi's first modern shopping centres, built to offer a high-quality shopping experience. The new brand design keeps the iconic roof shape but adds a connection to the nearby sea. Updated marketing materials, brand guidelines, and signs give it a fresh, modern look.

    The mall's exterior, interior, and spaces were fully redesigned to improve the guest experience and attract younger, more discerning visitors. The design focuses on the mall’s light, airy spaces by the sea, helping it stand out from many new malls in the city.

    To update the tired space, we improved the flow for shoppers, starting with refreshed entrances and lobbies featuring unique floor patterns for each area. Walkways and atriums now have light floors, glass railings, greenery, and sculptures to create a lively feel. New café seating was added on all levels. Bathrooms, prayer rooms, signs, and directions were also upgraded to make the mall smooth, relaxing, and welcoming for families.
