Taking inspiration from the food and wines of the Provence and Riviera regions of southern France, to create an intimate restaurant for Chelsea’s Hollywood Road.
Our design DNA for the space revolves around the use of copper, symbolising the warmth of the Provence and Riviera regions. A light materials palette, including pale brick, concrete render, oak flooring, blond timbers, and wicker chairs complement this. The colour scheme features soft greys, blues, and the palest salmon pink. To bring the outdoors in, we’ve incorporated indoor planting, such as lemon trees in pots, ivy along the rear, and a half-ton, up-lit olive tree at the heart of the restaurant. Industrial design elements introduce a contemporary edge, all while evoking the essence of al fresco dining in a warm, sunlit climate.
The façade stands proudly along the high street, finished in a soft, washed grey. Above, a band of faint yellow ochre at a high level casts a warm glow, drawing the eye to the signage.
A virtue was made of the restaurant’s slim footprint through the design of a series of intriguingly zoned spaces and continued visual interest, so that there is something new to catch the eye at every stage.
The private dining space exudes an intimate atmosphere, with deep tones, rich textures, and soft ambient lighting enhancing its allure. Creating a sense of quiet luxury, inviting guests to indulge in an exclusive dining experience.
