Aloft Hotel, Al Ain
Localising the energetic and stylish Aloft Hotel concept, designing new experiences for the Middle Eastern market.
We worked with stylish boutique brand Aloft to adjust its US concept to meet regional and cultural expectations in the United Arab Emirates. To do this, we created new experiences to meet the UAE’s 4-star standard, including new VIP suites, an all-day-dining restaurant concept and an enticing pool bar.
The striking new Aloft is one of the cornerstones of Al Ain’s new 500,000 square metre Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium development. The new hotel is owner Marriott International’s first property in Al Ain, a beautiful and historic location also known as the Garden City.

Staying true to Aloft’s ‘Different By Design’ ethos, the stunning new Aloft has a bold and contemporary attitude and aesthetic that makes it unlike anywhere else in Al Ain.
The new concepts we designed include Olive Tree, a light and
fresh new restaurant, and The Rooftop – the only rooftop pool
bar in Al Ain. The Rooftop offers an open-air bar, terrace and
infinity-edge pool with unparalleled views of Jebel Hafeet
mountain in the distance. Surrounded by the sublime scenery
of the Arabian Desert, it’s the place to be for the evening sunset when the space transitions from a relaxed daytime vibe to a
buzzing social destination.

Aloft Al Ain has received hugely positive feedback from guests, press and bloggers alike. It’s rated as the #1 hotel in Al Ain, scoring 4.5 on TripAdvisor. It has become a popular social destination, regularly hosting live music, DJ nights and pool parties.
