Bateel

We have worked with Bateel since 2005, transforming the brand from a small specialist date boutique into a world-class gourmet food empire and restaurateur. Today, Bateel is one of the most recognisable home-grown brands in the Middle East, supported by international investment from LVMH, with stores worldwide.

Our work for Bateel has included developing the mission and vision statements, identity design, packaging, photography, fixtures, and interiors. We blend inspiration from European chocolatiers with Arabic heritage. This contemporary design concept has been so successful that we have overseen its rollout across the Middle East and Asia, evolving over time alongside the creation of Café Bateel, Bateel El’an, and travel retail — all helping to elevate Bateel into a true global luxury phenomenon.

BOUTIQUE

Bateel is a world-class brand producing gourmet dates, chocolates, and pastries, sold through elegant boutiques that we have designed and continually evolved. Starting from the first boutique we created in 2005 on New Bond Street, London, the brand now has well over 40 stores across the Middle East, Asia, and the USA, including flagship boutiques in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dubai, and most recently, Bateel’s first store in South Korea. These stores are beautifully designed with refined, simple details and natural colours inspired by the desert landscape surrounding the Bateel olive groves in Al Ghat.

TRAVEL RETAIL

We have designed a collection of fixtures that work across various Duty Free zones, concession fitouts within department stores, and pop-ups globally, bringing Bateel’s unique style and brand DNA to these spaces.
